Windows Phone NYC Event Video Goes Live

Posted on Windows 7 News & Tips This week Microsoft had a huge promotional event for Windows Phone in New York City where they constructed a six story phone, complete with live tiles to show off the platform, and by all counts it drew a huge crown and garnered a lot of media interest. Now the company has put a mash-up video online of the day’s festivities which include a rock band, a samurai demonstration and a marriage proposal; fortunately a succesful one (I’m wondering which ring they’d choose from the phone?) The event was to mark the release of new Windows Phone handsets from Samsung, Acer, Nokia and other companies and is effectively a reboot of Windows Phone as a platform after a fairly quiet first year.

I’m sure plenty of our readers are running Windows 7 on a dual monitor setup, I often switch between single and dual monitor displays depending on what I’m doing.
