Microsoft signs off Windows Phone ‘Mango’ to RTM

Posted on Windows 7 News & Tips There’s still no firm date when the next update to Windows Phone will be released.  This is partly at least because the process will be held up by some handset manufacturers and carriers for up to two months.  Never the less, Microsoft have today announced that they have signed off the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) copy of the Mango update. In a blog post today the company said “This marks the point in the development process where we hand code to our handset and mobile operator partners to optimize Mango for their specific phone and network configurations. Here on the Windows Phone team, we now turn to preparing for the update process.
