I never felt the need to add a secondary clock to my desktop. That does not necessarily mean that all computer users feel that way. I know a few first hand that like to have a larger clock on their desktop visible all the time.

Posted on Windows 7 News & Tips Yesterday, Microsoft released the beta of the first major Windows Phone operating system update, codenamed Mango, to developers and this included myself.

Microsoft has released a new Internet Explorer 10 preview, the second pre-release of Internet Explorer 10 designed to give developers access to the new technologies that Internet Explorer 10 will deliver. The new version includes support for a bunch of new specifications, enabling better support for drag and drop, form validation, positioning of page elements, and more. As with prior preview releases, Microsoft has also provided a number of demo sites to show off new capabilities, and new test cases to demonstrate exact conformance with the HTML5 specifications.

That means that companies that are interested in getting the latest Microsoft version of Office don’t have to buy it but can essentially lease the product from Azure, Microsoft’s Cloud system. This is good news for companies that are strapped for cash in this economy, and don’t have the time either to purchase, install, and configure the most current Microsoft software
