Trying to ride in on the wave of success that Windows 7 has created, Microsoft is certainly positioning Windows Phone 7 to do the same. With a sleek UI and hardware partners galore, Windows Phone 7 should be able to stand on its own in the mobile field. Questions remain as to whether Microsoft can compete with iTunes and the Android in delivering their own consumable media and apps through the Zune Marketplace.
